Working With Station Seven

Poor Mike. The amount of emails and questions I had in the beginning of creating my blog were outrageous. Even I wouldn’t have replied to myself haha! I had a lot of fun creating my blog though. I had been eyeing a lot of different templates. I love Squarespace, I do. It’s an easy site to work with when creating your own blog— but I wasn’t quite happy with their templates.

I reached out to Mike from Station Seven. I originally had my eye on some other templates, from different sites but couldn’t imagine dropping that kind of cash on one quite yet- especially since I'm so new at this. But mainly because I didn’t know how much traffic my blog site is even going to get at first. Anyways, I reached out to Mike, hoping to get a discount code towards a template, because even $89 seemed high. I got a response later that night, saying they would be more than happy to work together and he offered me a FREE template! I was really excited, expecting just a discount code I happily accepted his terms. I choose the Elise Jane template.

I received my template a couple of days later with the install and demo set up. This allowed me to have the template on hand, with detailed instructions on how to create my own replica. I loved having the vision of what it was supposed to look like right at my fingertips, but also having the ability to add my own twist to it. I used what I needed and changed what I wanted, it was nice to have the power in my hands. I learned a lot about creating a blog along the way too!

I am extremely happy with the outcome of how everything turned out, and I love the fact that I can tweak things whenever and however I want. This template makes it easy. I can change and add things to my likings. I have gained so much knowledge by creating this template on my own, following Station Steven’s detailed step by step instructions. So thank you Mike, thank you so much for allowing the opportunity to work with you guys!

Always,

Ashley
